During my trip from Toronto, I was flying Aeromexico in Business Class and received access to the Plaza Premium Lounge at Toronto Pearson (YYZ). Conveniently located in Terminal 3, the lounge sits right next to the KLM Crown Lounge, making it easy to find. As one of the main contract lounges in the terminal, Plaza Premium serves a variety of airlines and offers a comfortable space to relax before departure.

The Plaza Premium Lounge at Toronto Pearson has a comfortable but somewhat mixed layout. After entering, you’ll find several seating areas with armchairs, sofas, and small tables, creating zones for dining, relaxing, and working. The lounge is divided into sections — including areas reserved for specific airline partners in some configurations — and offers a buffet and bar area on one side with food and drinks, and more relaxed seating on the other. Large windows help brighten the space, and charging outlets are scattered throughout.

The Plaza Premium Lounge also includes a dedicated kids play area, providing a small space with toys, books, and activities where younger travellers can stay entertained while parents relax.

The food buffet at Plaza Premium Lounge offers a mix of hot and cold options, with items that vary by time of day — from breakfast classics like scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, cereals, salads, breads and pastries, to other snacks and buffet-style dishes.

For drinks, there’s a range of coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and juices available, along with a complimentary selection of house beer and wine. Spirits and cocktails may also be offered, though they are sometimes served at the bar or may incur additional charges depending on the choice. There is a drinks menu posted on the bar.

Overall, the Plaza Premium Lounge at Toronto Pearson offers a convenient and comfortable place to unwind before departure. While it can get busy at times, the variety of seating areas, family-friendly touches, and simple food and drink options make it a ok choice in Terminal 3.
