The Air China Star Alliance Gold Lounge at Beijing Capital Airport (PEK) Terminal 3 – T3C is a convenient and well-appointed retreat for domestic travelers, located just past security. After clearing security, passengers can easily spot the lounge entrance and take the escalator up one level to access the facility.

This domestic lounge caters to Star Alliance Gold members and business class passengers flying with Air China or other eligible Star Alliance carriers. Inside, guests will find a spacious and quiet environment with ample seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a selection of hot and cold dishes, including both Chinese and Western options. Right after the entry, there are also a few sleeping pods, if you wanna catch up on sleep after a long international flight during your transit.

Its prime location right after security makes it an ideal spot to relax before a flight, whether for a quick refreshment or a longer layover. The lounge’s efficient layout and amenities ensure a seamless pre-flight experience, adding a touch of comfort to domestic travel from Beijing.

The snacks, drinks and tea/coffee section is right after the entry and next to the sleeping pods. Another highlight of the lounge – were the giant and yummy instant noodles!

Please note that this lounge has no hard liquor, only beer and wine. Not a problem as this is a domestic lounge.

The lounge has comfortable seating areas that can also be used as dining, as each 2 sofas has a small dining table for them.

It is quite a large lounge, with nice view of the tarmac and the planes.

One of the standout offerings in the Air China Star Alliance Gold Lounge is its fresh and flavorful beef noodle soup, a comforting highlight for travelers. The rich, aromatic broth is simmered to perfection, while the hand-pulled noodles boast a delightfully chewy texture. Tender and slow-cooked beef melt in your mouth, seasoned just right for a satisfying balance of savory depth and subtle spice. I loved it, with a nice cold beer to go with it.

At the far end of the lounge, you can find the noodle bar and the warm food selection. I was there twice-once during lunch and once during dinner times and both times they had multiple warm food options with chicken and shrimp, along with rice and noodles.

Also a few dumpling options.

After our stay at this lounge, we walked to our gate, which was C59.

And there is another Air China premium lounge hidden on the 2F, once you go down the escalator. This lounge was a complete surprise to me and I had no idea it is there. The Air China website is not too good in marketing its own lounges.

Please see the arrows guiding you to the lounge, next to C59 gates.
