The Air China International First Class Lounge in Terminal 3E of Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) is a haven of tranquility and sophistication. Perched on the mezzanine level above the duty-free shopping zone, the lounge bathes guests in natural light and offers sweeping tarmac views—a delight for aviation enthusiasts. Designed with understated elegance, its spacious layout features generously spaced seating, ensuring privacy and comfort even during busy periods.

After passing through security in Terminal 3E at Beijing Capital International Airport, head left to find the Well Market. It’s conveniently located just behind the Chinese Pavilion, making it easily accessible for travelers

A nice Panda display to welcome you.

It is very spacious, offering a pleasant break from the usual airport hustle. One side features stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light, while the other side overlooks the open expanse of the terminal, creating an airy, open atmosphere.

My favorite part of the lounge experience was the dumpling noodle soup, made fresh to order at the live cooking station. It was a comforting bowl with delicate dumplings in a rich broth. It was the perfect dish to enjoy before a long flight.

Also a few dim-sum options – shrimps and chicken, I think

The dining area

Quite a few soft drink, juice options, and 2 beers available.

Again, the yummy instant noodles. However, this time I did not try them. They also have a lot of yogurt options and fruit salads

Lovely yummy cakes – the cheese cake and the chocolate were fantastic. The Jasmine Tiramisu was less so…

What sets the First class lounge apart from the Star gold lounge is that there is a fully stocked bar in this one. Nice wine and liquor options were on offer

There is also a small theatre like setting with screen in the middle, but with not so comfortable seats. I really wonder, what this is used for?

There are also shower facilities available in the Air China First Class Lounge, although I didn’t use them during our visit. We were there early on a Monday morning for a 09:55 flight to Frankfurt, and the lounge was practically empty, which made the experience even more relaxing. The space was spotless, quiet, and well-maintained, allowing us to unwind in comfort before boarding. Overall, we really loved our stay—it was a calm and comfortable start to a long-haul journey.
