Aerolineas Argentinas Lounge – Buenos Aires (EZE) Ministro Pistarini International Airport

Before departing from Buenos Aires (EZE), on my flight with Aeromexico, I visited the Aerolíneas Argentinas Lounge, the airline’s dedicated space for Business Class passengers and eligible SkyTeam travelers. Located in the international departures area, the lounge offers a quiet retreat from the busy terminal and serves as the main pre-flight space for Argentina’s national carrier. With a long journey ahead, I was curious to see how the lounge experience compared to other flagship airline lounges in the region.

The Aerolíneas Argentinas Lounge is located in the international departures area at Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), after security and passport control. It’s clearly signposted and easy to find, making it a convenient stop before boarding your flight.

The lounge itself is quite spacious, with a variety of different seating areas to suit different needs. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to relax, a more social setting, or a spot to work, the layout offers plenty of options throughout the large space.

My favorite area of the lounge was the massage chair section, which features several chairs designed for a bit of pre-flight relaxation. When I visited, it was completely empty, making it a quiet and peaceful spot to unwind before departure.

The lounge also offers a nice selection of drinks, including local and international options. I was especially happy to see my favorite Argentine classic, Fernet Branca, available — a great local touch that added to the experience.

The food selection was quite spartan, which was disappointing for a hub lounge. During my visit, there were only a few cold options available and no hot dishes at all, making the offering feel underwhelming compared to what you might expect from a flagship international lounge.

There were plenty of drinks available, including soft drinks, juices, and even yogurt drinks, giving a good range of refreshing options despite the limited food selection.

One of my favorite touches in the lounge was the ice cream section, which added a fun and unexpected treat to the experience.

Showers are available in two separate areas of the lounge, which helps distribute guests and avoid congestion. During my visit, there was no queue at all, allowing me to freshen up quickly and comfortably before my flight.

The showers were very simple and nothing particularly special, but they were clean and functional and certainly got the job done. For a quick refresh before a long flight, they served their purpose well.

A fun and unexpected feature was the PlayStation area, offering a bit of entertainment before boarding. For younger travelers — and even some adults — this is a great way to pass the time and adds a unique touch to the lounge experience.

The lounge also includes a simple kids’ area, providing a small space with toys and activities to keep younger travelers entertained while parents relax.

Overall, the Aerolineas Argentinas Lounge at Buenos Aires EZE offers a spacious and well-equipped environment, with plenty of seating, a fun PlayStation area, a small kids’ section, and a good variety of drinks and yogurt beverages. However, the food options are very limited and showers are basic, so it falls short of expectations for a major hub lounge. Despite these drawbacks, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to relax before your flight.
